Hi Peter/Georgina bowater-at-wanadoo.fr (bowater)::1/3/04::11:13 am:: GMT+0100
>Group, > >For years we've been using an X-rite sensor and OptiCal 2.5 software to >calibrate our monitors. We've just upgraded to Panther and find that this >calibration equipment is no longer supported. > >We are being offered X-rite's "Monaco Optix" or OptiCal with the Spyder. please don't buy a Spyder. too many bad ones around. >Can anyone offer any opinions or experience or recommend another solution >please. We have a motley collection of monitors - a LaCie Electron 22 >blue, an older Sony Multiscan 20sf and an Iiyama HM204DT. basICColor Display wil run the DTP 92 on OSX - link to a free demo (5 restarts of the SW) at <http://www.colourmanagement.net/profilgear.html> DOWNLOADING LATEST DISPLAY SOFTWARE FROM COLOR-SOLUTIONS: You will be asked to complete a form to request a download - and then click a button labelled <abschicken> (send). In moments you get an email in German with a link to get the SW which takes you to a special website page. You then click the <<downloaden>> link on the special page of the color-solutions site your download begins. you can get an unlocking code from us if you like it. if you don't have a DTP 92, but instead the old XRite sensor it's due for renewal. Have a look at the basIColor Squid Colorimeter. However to get a really good match between a motley collection of screens you'll need a spectrophotometer like eyeOne Monitor (550 with one basIColor Display licence). want more info? feel free to contact me Regards, NeilB.
