Niel,

I believe Profile-Lab http://www.profile-lab.com were offering profiles
utilising Spectrolino / Spectroscan and Profilemaker 4.0 (now 4.1) before
you bought your own spectrophotometer last year?

I would further add that the 'best' profiles are not necessarily achieved by
averaging the data from 2 printed testcharts but more from a clever mix of
how those test charts are read. Call me a purist, but I would rather not
work in an averaged environment.

If you are profiling 2 paper surfaces, Profile-Lab works out at 74 +vat
each. They know their stuff and are responsible for the 'paper swatch'
samples that are available at Silverprint (http://www.silverprint.co.uk) in
London - more than 100 different paper samples printed on a variety of
printers.

HTH,

Michael
