Dear Keith

Allied to the bottle top device I had a number of tripod size screws welded onto useful bits. One was on a large eye screw for fixing to a piece of wood, another onto a flat metal plate for gaffer taping onto anything while a couple were fixed to different sized clamps. They held cameras, reflectors and flash heads.

Because of the ease of combining two digital exposures I am about to dust off my Cokin 'Pastel' filters which I think will help with night shots and contrast reduction.

Additionally there are all those old UV filters to spatter glue and other stuff on to make soft focus filters.

There are many more.....

Bob

Damn! Doesn't look like it will work on a wine bottle;-)

Are there any other tricks/tips that were possibly common knowledge in the
pre-digital era that people have found to have new application in Digital
work?

bye for now
