Jonathan,
This happened to a friend of mine with a 10d and was quite common.
A company called Leahmans at Stoke on Tent sorted it out for him, they are
authorised repair people.

Subject: [PRODIG] 1Ds auto focus problem

Hi all

Just found out (unfortunately half way through a shoot abroad) a
problem with the auto focus throwing images out of focus despite
apparent good focussing through the viewfinder. Manually focussed
images seem normal.

Has anyone any experience of this?

I am getting very nervous here.

Kind regards

Jonathan Keenan
