Another question and one that's doubtless been covered many times. Am aware of the obvious size, power-consumption advantages of LCDs, and have read somewhere that the colour gamut is more suitable for CMYK proofing but don't want to go into colour workflow details too much... just wondered if there's any truth in the fact that LCDs are a little more pleasant to work with (eyestrain etc). I'm sitting in front of this damn thing for most of the day so would obviously like something that's relatively comfortable in use, and trying to decide whether to go the Lacie Electron or Photon route. Have I missed any other obvious advantages?
Seems with my budget I can either get a larger CRT or smaller LCD... wondered whether the comfort issue would make the drop in size worthwhile... Hope this isn't too droll a topic... =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
