It's not the reliability I have problems with I get problems with other
manufacture's it's the after sales service when you are unfortunate for it
to go wrong.
I sell these things to a small group of clients who rely on my service.  If
any go wrong the buck stops here and it's me who pays the bill.  Most of my
clients pay a monthly fee and labour and components are free.
I therefore steer away from products that could get me a bad name.  E.G.
Western digital hard drives,  never sold one but change at least three a
month and last month for example I had two that my very expensive hard disk
recovery software couldn't recover.  This has never happened with any other
hard disk manufacturer.  Hence I would never purchase for a client a WD
drive.  Most of the failures recently are on WD USB backup drives so buying
one defeats the object.
