I guess it might become less annoying over time but this one came at the wrong moment... dead tired, trying to do something... you know what it's like. I put up with it for a couple of months but suddenly patience wore thin.

There is some very interesting stuff in that Intellisense System. Well worth digging around.

Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying feature that completes
your typing in the command window?   VFP9 SP2

Typed 'set defa to', three times in a row and {enter} acted upon
SET DEFAULT TO to <dirname> because I didn't notice it had completed
the command for me.  As you type 'set defa' it completes the command
automatically, as it does for all commands.  I've not seen this before
VFP9, the last version I used was VFP6, and I don't even know what
it's called.
