        Well, yeah, that's what normal people would think. But when this  
topic was brought up here a couple of weeks ago, the trickle-downers  
claimed that CEOs earned their pay; that is was a good investment  
because these well-paid CEOs improved the company's earnings,  
enabling them to hire more workers and pay them better.
