There is the Panasonic Toughbook series http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=panasonic+toughbook&um=1&ie=UTF-8 Here's a company that looks promising, although I've never used them. http://www.ruggednotebooks.com/ These comply with Military Standard 810F. When I worked for the Army, we specialized in MIL-STD-810 and it is an amazingly strong requirement. There are rigid requirements for the following categories. Salt-fog humity heat cold vibration shock altitude.
