Thanks Raul,

I suppose that is possible, but I would have thought that Linux would have a 
way of dealing with .mp4 files. The error of not finding a multimedia control 
in labsel makes me think that it is looking in the lab selection form for the 
videoviewer controls. This is why I suspect a 'ghost' form, but I appreciate 
your suggestion as it introduces other possibilities.
