interface to opengl is available since year 2013 as 
addon api/gles.

J support for opengl v1 had been decommitted long time ago and
glut support also gone away because it is not part of
modern opengl. glut itself had also discontinued decade ago.
There is a recent additon addon for freeglut from David
Mitchell. As far as I understand this freeglut addon is standalone 
and does not depend on opengl or gles addons.
