Any body could do it! ;) As for making a Template once you get a PT session configured how you like select "Save As Template …" from the file menu. Tip before i would do this make a "templates folder" where Avid stores its templates for future accessibility of your custom templates. There are STILL not accessible parts of the PT app so this makes it faster. As for the mp3 i just use itunes and have it set for mp4 which is a little bit cleaner. YMMV
