Go ahead Christopher and give it to us. Sharing is what Christmas is about
after all.

Like I say, if anyone wants to hear my version of Silver Bells, write me off
list. I'm way too embarrassed to publicly put it up here. Honestly, I think
it's terrible, but if you all really? and I do mean really? wanna hear it, let
me know.

I'm probably just setting way too high expectations for myself, but Just within
the first verse alone, even before getting to the first chorus, I can probably
name you over 100 things that could use a lot of work. Problem is, no matter
how hard I try to polish them, I just can't get the sound I'm needing. I know
mainly the things which seem to need fixing, and I can hear in my head what I
should a done differently, but I just can't audibly do it.

I'm not sure if it's my voice that just isn't suited for vocals, or if it is my
arrangements that flat out suck, or what... Further, you'd think after
listenning to Matt's tutorial, and working with it for over 3 months almost
nonstop, I'd at least have a bit more of a grasp on what I'm doing, but I still
just cannot get PT to do what I want it to. I confess, there are times that I
wonder why I even botherred getting into trying to record my music. I just
don't know if I have what it's cut out to be. I listen to all you all, and
wonder how you all do it! I'm not going to say I can't carry a tune at all,
but I certainly am not recording material, face it.

I just wonder if the potential is there for me to even become really good.
People have said, Chris, so you're not a professional as you'd like to be.
Do it because you love doing it. Do it for the glory of god's ministry!
Don't worry what other's think. It's not so much what they think. It's what
I! think. I just don't think I've got what it takes.

If you all really wanna hear this, and make suggestions, ok, but if you're
gonna recommend things, be sure to be very specific. If you could point out
particular parts of the song that you think I could a done better, then that
would help, rather than jsut saying over all, it needs a lotta work. Duh!
I know that already.

Anyway, it's on Dropbox, so if anyone wants it, just say the word and I'll
shoot you over the link to the wave file.

Chris.
