Hi Slau, It still doesn't work. It becomes a bit confusing for me. I loaded the session that the protools with speech boys provides with the edit tutorial. When I make a selection in one of the tracks of this session and delete it it works fine. But when I add a new track and record something on it and then make a selection and try to delete it it doesn't work. I explore botgh tracks but can't find any difference. Do you understand whats's happening here?

Make sure you have track and edit selections linked as well as the edit and timeline linked. this is under the Options menu. It sounds like you might not actually have the track selected and/or the edit selection is not actually linked to the timeline. 2. You might not have waveforms being displayed. Make sure you see the word waveform in the track view of the Edit window. Check those things for now.
