Hi Poppa, Yes I selected the track. I tried what you suggested but this also didn't work. I think I had to start reading all the documentation. It's always difficult to change from one program to another. I've worked with cakewalk sonar for years and then you think that migrating Can't be so difficult. Stupid thought... But I will still give it a try. I was very impressed by the possibility to make my own sounds in Ultra analog from Applied acoustics. In the older days on winxp when using directixer this was also possible within sonar. But now you can only do this in sonar using synth rack view. And thas is very, very lot of work.

Make sure you have track and edit selections linked as well as the edit and timeline linked. this is under the Options menu. It sounds like you might not actually have the track selected and/or the edit selection is not actually linked to the timeline. 2. You might not have waveforms being displayed. Make sure you see the word waveform in the track view of the Edit window. Check those things for now.
