well, although in a condensed fashion. See my other message for more detail.
Ethernet tab of the Peripherals dialog under the Setup menu. Enable the
Ethernet port checkbox and select the C|24 from the pop-up menus. If it doesn't
work the first time, reboot the computer and try again. I had an invisible C|24
the first time I ran the v12 beta and it worked after a reboot. Let me know if
that works.

surface” is a c24. PT sees my HDIO interface and lets me select that playback
engine, but it doesn’t see the C24. The c24 says it’s offline, so I know it’s
not being recognized. Network lights show activity on both the mac and c24
sides. There is nothing indicating the control surface is present in the Setup
menus of ProTools.
Incidentally, this is a new system that has never been connected. This is
not a case where the c24 was once there and now isn’t.
On the c24, Line out 1-8 is going to analog in on the HDIO, and ProTools In
on the C24 is going to Analog outs 1-8 on the HDIO.
What am I missing here? Looking at the manuals, but figured I’d ask here,
too.
