I’ll have to try to resurect the project mix.  I think 
the firewire port is screwed up.

                          It’s been quite a while since I’ve used pro tools.  
Back when I was running pt 10 with the older os’s mountain lion etc., I had it 
working great with my alesis master control audio interface/control surface.  
Now alesis is no longer supporting it with el capitan.  I don’t think my 
m-audio project mix or the behringer bcf2000 will work either.  Are we 
relegated to having to buy the Avid artist series surface?  Would that be good 
enough or do we really need to spring for the s3.
