Sorry, I haven't had the time to get into the voiD details, but it is certainly 
the case that we have a lot of linksets that are independent of the KBs; in 
fact, that is our primary linkage mechanism.
So if voiD has a problem with that, then there may be a problem.
(In fact years of hypertext research suggest that embedding links is not the 
best way forward, and using linkbases is the best way to go, but that is 
another thread if anyone wants to pick it up.)
The CRSes are not Linked Data at the moment, but will be I'm sure (again, time 
permitting).
As an example, the dblp.rkbexplorer.com CRS for Tim is at:

(And yes, it does show his dbpedia stuff by automagic linkage.)

I think the CRS system proposed by Hugh and Afraz at the last LDOW is
publishing linksets independently? Hugh, would be Void expressible
enough to encompass what you publish?
Although there is still the possibility to consider it as an
independent dataset, having two linksets pointing to the two datasets
being interlinked.
