Where _Subsystems and Tunable Parameters_ is the chapter title injected into the sentence. Does that suffer from the same (or a different) problem, or would it solve it in this case? - Josh On Fri, Nov 16, 2012 at 7:06 PM, Inna Kabanova <[email protected]>wrote: > > ----- Original Message ----- > > For the translation issue, I speak Spanish, and I'm not clear on what > > you're describing here. > > > > Do you have an example to illustrate this? > > > > It's of interest to me, because I have a brand that does this. > > > > - Josh > > In Russian I face with this issue very often because of declensional > endings. > > == Example (from Fedora Resource Management Guide) == > English: > Refer to _Chapter 3, Subsystems and Tunable Parameters_ for a > description of which parameters are mandatory for given subsystems. > Russian (as I want to translate): > Описание того, какие из параметров подсистем являются обязательными, > приведено в _ГлавЕ 3, Подсистемы и параметры настройки_. > ----- > But the <xref> output in Russian is "ГлавА 3, ...", so the last letter > (declensional ending) in the word "Глава" ("Chspter" in Russian) is > different from the last letter from my example ("ГлавЕ 3, ...").
