Don't disagree - and #2615 is now marked high - but assuming triage is done and the critical tickets are marked we should target completion of those for the date proposed. If it's not feasible - then so be it - but I'd like to have a target date rather than the never-ending cycle of patch, patch, think about release, patch, patch, etc we've sometimes fallen into in the past.
