I find that QPC2 on an Apple Mac with a virtual machine running Windows XP has
advantages over a plain PC. The virtual machine (VMware) allows the state of
Windows, and therefore QPC2, to be stored when the program is stopped so that
when you start up again you still have the QPC2 exactly as it was when you
switched off. I can ask my PC laptop to "hibernate" and this has the same
effect, except that sometimes this fails and you have to restart from scratch.
