Okay, this is because SMSQ/E actually provides an official way to get
the name of an open channel: ioa.cnam (trap #2). This is implemented
by the DV3 drivers, but actually returns the "wrong" string. For
drivers not implementing the trap (like your WIN device I suppose),
Channels extracts the device name from the driver linkage blocks
itself. In this case it uses the correct one ("current" vs. "default"
name).
