But...
Even in v1.09 the DIR_SELECT$ bug still exists.
Memory corruption as soon as the menu is opened. Some of the
directories in the list may not exist for this SMSQ/m but the main
root it opens with is win1_, which does exist.

Hi,
a$=dir_select$('DIRectory',,,,win2_) returns the selected directory
without error from within QD and from the command line. (vers 1,09).
Thanks to Wolfgang ProwesS-Proforma progs are now usable With (under)
SMSQmulator.
