At SGI I was the backline support expert in SCSI tape drives.  SCSI is 
great, easy to hook up, but very expensive (comparted to IDE).  I borrowed 
a SCSI CDROM for an Sparc IPX a friend gave me.  He said the same drive 
goes for $150 on E-Bay ($400 from a Sun reseller).  I'll stick with IDE on 
the Q40.
