My first printer for the QL was a Diablo 630 daisywheel. This had a 3 chr absolute tab command - which was superb for assembling one line data in any order. Along came the Brother in 1966 with Diablo emulation. It has worked now for 17 years totally trouble free - other than clearing the head with isopropyl alcohol occasionally. I am sure it is way over its design life. -- QBBS (QL fido BBS 2:252/67) +44(0)1442-828255 tony@<surname>.co.uk http://www.firshman.co.uk Voice: +44(0)1442-828254 Fax: +44(0)1442-828255 TF Services, 29 Longfield Road, TRING, Herts, HP23 4DG ******************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
