Okay.  One alternative would be to set NEWSENDER before forwarding from
info@domain to joe@domain and fred@domain -- then any autoresponse they
create would go elsewhere, but when they do an actual reply, it would
pick up the original sender's Reply-To: or From: address and send the
human response there.

i.e., in .qmail-info:

  | NEWSENDER="devnull@localhost" forward joe@domain fred@domain
