Hi Mark Hutchinson,

Use following ldap lookup,

ldapsearch -x -b "dc=redstarhosting,dc=co.uk" -D "cn=<rootdn>" -w <root 
password> objectclass="qmailuser"

You should get list of users allowed in qmail-ldap.


Or add rootdn and rootpw entry in /var/qmail/control/ldapbasedn 
and /var/qmail/control/ldappasswd  respectively and try for ldaplookup.

Else send me an ldif for any user to analysis.

Definately there is some thing wrong in ldap or ldap database.  That's why your 
qmail ldaplookup fails.
