When I do
# dig mail.messaging.microsoft.com
I see that the TTL for this record is 60 seconds, which is unusually
short. I expect that MS is making changes in this area, and your problem
will go away once their dust settles. That's just a guess though.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at myserver.com <http://myserver.com>.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<***@microsoft.com <http://microsoft.com>>:
CNAME lookup failed temporarily. (#4.4.3)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.
As I read, could be for domain DNS problems, could be due to problems
with the Microsoft DNS?
Here is a MX resolution test from my server:
[root@mail2 ~]# dig microsoft.com <http://microsoft.com> mx

If you haven't changed anything recently, that would seem to
indicate a problem at/from yahoo, or something amiss with DNS at any
rate.
I seem to recall that MX records cannot point to CNAME records (MX
must point to type A record), so it seems odd that CNAME lookup is
even being done. Just a thought.

Thanks a lot Eric,
we didn't change the domain setting currently.
I googled using keyword "CNAME lookup failed temporarily. (#4.4.3)"
someone said that was yahoo problem.

Sam

Any idea ?

This is a DNS lookup failure.
Have any DNS records for the domain changed recently?
Perhaps the time field wasn't updated?
We really can't help much with diagnosis w/out knowing the
domain name.
