That is the $1,000,000 question. I know myself well enough to know that if I
have to actively go to a web site or to an RSS reader to look for stuff, it
just won't happen. My brain's polling implementaiton is poor; my
interrupt-driven implementation is far better. If something pops up on my
screen and smacks me in the face, I'll read it; otherwise I'm unlikely to.
For this reason email is by far the best means of communication for me.
Other people work well in a forum-type environment. If we can somehow get
the two mechanisms to talk to each other and cross-post, it'll be great.
Otherwise I agree with Jean-Babtiste's assessment that having two mechanisms
will fragment the community.
