I was not trying to convince somebody about RSS tools, I just tried to
sort Derrell's question in the "client tools" bucket, rather the "server
features" bucket :).

Just see several of the other mails.

Aggreed. Change is always inconvenient, and old habbits are hard to
break (especially as they get older ;). But sometimes change can also be
a good thing. Take a fresh look at SO, and keep in mind that as
qooxdoo's user base grows, new people with less habits get on board. The
question how to make qooxdoo more popular has been raised on the ML a
couple of times. Good and accessible(!) Q&A support is one factor, IMO.

At the end, of course, it hinges all on adoption, and the technology
areas on SO reflect that. C# is incredible with 56,000+ questions, a
huge knowledge base. But even Javascript and Python, which are both
among the first top 10 areas (22,000+ and 15,000+ questions) have
tremendous support there (I frequently use the Python tag, and have
found information there within few days and weeks which otherwise would
have taken me weeks and months to gather). jquery is even before Python
(16,000+). But even smaller knowledge bases often excel in their quality.
