I know that this list has seen little activity, but I find it
fascinating that after a tremendous flurry of activity, mostly 'I'm
here, are you here?" type of stupid messages on the new, strictly
moderated QRP-Z (QRP-Zero)list, activity has dropped to nothing.
I also note no activity on Hamregs. As I said in my parting shot to
QRP-Losers, the majority of hams are militantly against doing ANYTHING!
I actually rejoined ARRL just to have a voice, although Bernie, who used
to at least respond to emails, refuses to respond now. Haynie actually
called me a "trouble-maker." Of course, as I said, the ARRL is NOT run
by the Directors. The Executive Committee, led with an iron hand by
Sumner, makes the decisions, and the BOD rubber stamps them. Even the
President is just a figurehead, to go speak at Hamfests, etc.
