Basically Doug was a director of ARCI a few years ago, in fact way before
AMQRP was formed.
Yes, he was a director on the ARCI board. But NOT for a full term. He
quit. Well, he resigned.
And you will note that Doug is no longer a director of ARCI.
And he has not been a member since July 1999, not long after he quit.
And that is most likely where (at least some of) the "bad boogey" is.
I do not believe that. I do believe if you were to talk to some of
those who make their living
selling kits that you might find out that the clubs who market kits on a
very narrow profit margin
cut into their income.
Is it right or is that wrong for a club to do that? I guess it depends
on which side of the fence
you are located.
Saying much beyond that will get political and I refuse to get into a
QRP political oriented discussion.
