That said, you have to realize that for a chosen few, politics is a form of religion in that it has a book of rules, beliefs, customs, practices and a history of counter strategy against those who differ in their politics. From those chosen few you will find the masses who line up behind their chosen party based on their personal beliefs. You can't imagine what goes on within the chosen few. These people are willing to do anything, and suffer the results, to defend and represent their political party, including death if necessary. So when election time comes around, I like to use the Olympic Scoring Rules. You take away the high score and you take away the low score and then average everything in the middle.
