I'd also recomend trying the bag balm ointment for dry skin. For damp areas I use Gold Bond powder. Tim http://THEQUADLINK.COM

I maximize the effectiveness by keeping my legs in a frog leg position, which also reduces my spasms. I set the fan on the lowest setting so the batteries don’t have to be changed often. I use rechargeable batteries. For dryness and cracking, I use Bag Balm. Works for me. It started as a dime size sore, but very shallow, not deep at all. Like the top layers of skin were scraped off. It has healed over finely, it took months. It still looks sore, but at least it closed up. I have 2 more problems that I hoped someone might help with. When I go to bed my crotch area is real damp and often red and sore looking. Is there a powder or anything you have used to help with this? Also, right behind “My boys” down there it is just the opposite. It is so dry, my skin is cracking. I’ve tried many different things. The nurse said do not put anything on it during the day. Any more moisture down there can cause more problems. So at night I’ve tried putting creams, etc, on it and leaving it undressed to get air. Has anyone else had this super dry skin down there? What did you use? I thank you very much, Greg
