A few problems here: 1. Quadra = no USB. 2. Quadra = no PCI to put a USB card in. 3. Quadra = no 8.6, which is the biggest problem.. 4. USB to SCSI adaptor... which is how common? I've seen them the *other* way, SCSI to USB (which is a whole heck of a lot easier, IIRC,) but not USB to SCSI (USB device modified for SCSI bus.) I've seen one, which has spotty device support, and runs $200 - for which you can buy a PCI Powermac - possibly even a beige G3 - and PCI based USB card. Might even have the cash for a used or lower-end G3 card for the PCI powermac.... which would probably be more reliable than the adaptor. >OR..Find Strata VideoShop 4.5.1 somewhere--maybe download from Limewire?
