### They were too ashamed to put their name on the device, but I found the packaging. No manual: QVS CC2275A (Note 10 switches = 1024 combinations!) http://www.qvs.com/video/cc2275a.asp Tech support FAQ: http://www.qvs.com/support/faq_ca_cc.asp "Q: How can I get the adapter to work with my 17" monitor?-- A: You need to try every possible combination to find the right one, or call your monitor manufacturer for information. Q: Will this adapter work with my PC to MAC monitor?-- A: It will work with 2 gender changers. (This cable is actually designed for a PC monitor). Q: I need help to configure the dipswithces. I've already tried a lot of combinations, but I only get light without images.-- A: You need to try all the possible combinations because we do not have a current database for the different monitor types. It is possible that it may not be compatible with your monitor and computer. Q: The picture on my monitor keeps rolling.-- A: Check the monitor's frequency." ...<snip> > Here you'll find my variant: > http://www.hot.ee/archie/cable.gif > > The CAD program I'm using doesn't support exporting as a picture, so > it's simple screenshot; the upper part with connector's descriptions is > stripped off, but I believe you'll easily identify them. ### I tried the following in TinyCAD: Select all of the drawing with a window pick covering all. Then do "copy". Then go to Paint (or whatever image editing) and hit paste. (Looks like you did the same thing, but with print screen). TinyCAD seems to do a good job of making a clean drawing picture this way. Doc suggests pasting into Word or the like, and that would work also, but pasting into Paint allows saving in an image format that could be shared to Mac's, etc. as you have done. I would think that making this drawing available would be helpful for those wishing to build their own adapters or cables. Especially with some documentation derived from that other site as to how to modify for different situations. > > Generally, I see no difference between our schematics! :-) > > Best wishes, > Artur Thanks Gordon -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
