That's what happens when you double-click Extensions. That is, 
Extensions aren't "User modifiable" so they aren't generally "double-
clickable" like, for example, Control Panels in the Control Panels 
folder are, because Control Panels often have optional parameters 
which can be set. - Extensions don't.

There's nothing wrong with the error message you're getting, 
somewhat obfuscating, yes. But quite normal, all the same.
