A much better way forward is to just roll up the sleeves, and get the nits addressed, and do the (trial) rebases to see what depends on what and what can easily be triaged ahead and gotten in.

This isn't rocket science. Integration work (review, nits, reconciling, etc.) can be very tedious - esp when lots of it has built up in different directions.

However, the best answer to such a problem is to _just get it done_.
