Can't help you there. When I first fitted the new ones, I got a
vibration around 5800 to 6200 RPM that wasn't there before. Nothing
serious and I can still just about notice it. These mounts seem fairly
stiff and I would be wary of going stiffer. I do notice on the track
when pushing corners hard that the engine does move over, the evidence
being some new dings and engine/ exhaust hitting body. The clearances
in these areas are quite decent and rather than go stiffer mounts
still, I am considering a lateral stabiliser. However this is still a
first thought and haven't really got round to designing the locations
yet. In your case I would look at how much clearance you have in the
static position and if it is really close, would try to solve that
problem rather than going to stiffer mounts.

Have just remembered that when I built the Xtreme I opened the holes
on the engine mounts to move the engine slightly to give some more
clearance although can't remember whether this was for the bellhousing
area or to give more clearance against the bulkhead for the rear of
the water rail. You can also probably use some packing washers to
move the position of the engine mount bracket a small amount.
Although wouldn't push this too much.

Is yours a black top? If you let me know where exactly your problem
is I will check the clearance on mine.

Have fun

Nigel
