But more constructively, smokris' calculation is actually fairly ratiometric (because of how FP works), meaning that adding 1.0 units per second will also last ~317 000 years (with the accuracy falling off around 1e13 and stopping around 1e14, 3 orders of magnitude smaller). So your answer is a definitive 'yes' regardless of scale (as long as it's consistent, or fairly close to consistent).
