Hi again,
A few weeks ago I had trouble with synthfont and midi input. I have changed
keyboards and computer setups. Here's the new configuration, along with new
problems which I believe are easily fixed, I just need your help.
Windows: xp home
Ram: 512mb
synthfont version: 1.2.1 or something like that
soundcard: sound max digital audio
Synthfont settings: buffer size 3072, number of buffers 3, I think. (Jaws
isn't really clear on where I'm at)
I am almost confident enabling Acio would help, but there is no enable acio
option! I'm guessing I need some acio drivers or something? Now, I'm having
an extreme lag in midi events, 150ms or so. If I adjust buffering settings
to decrease lag, sound breaks up. Playback of midis with synthfont can be
made very responsive with no issues like the ones I'm having with midi
input.
Any guidance?
