Well this looks like it's becoming interesting.

Johnny, please go to control panel, then sounds & audio devices, &
control tab to audio. Tab to where it says default midi music playback
device, & tell me what that is.

Next, please go into qws, reproduce the error message you're getting,
virtualize the window (alt insert w w/jfw 11, ctrl insert w in earlier
versions), & then copy & paste the error message into your reply.

Do u have skype in case this gets hairier? What version of Jaws do u
run--I believe u said u ran jaws--is that right?
