Wow james, you bring up some interesting points. I didn't realize why the up
third and up second were really there until now, I just thought they were
flat transpose instead of sticking to a scale.
When I do make my own set of transforms, I will include the things you said
in my text file.
The harmonies I might still create, just for experimentation. However the up
and down third will prove very useful as a bass, no pun intended.

Regarding several of these suggested modified scale transforms and
modes, as I mentioned in another thread, some users might work out
that you can already do some of this without the need to create extra
transforms.
Take for example the Dorien transform.
Basically, as I understand it, Dorien is like starting a scale but on
the second note of a standard major scale.
So, you can synthesise a major -> Dorien note transform easily enough by:
Note transform: up 2nd
Transpose: -2
This should probably work for various other modes as well.
Regarding creating harmony parts, I often use the Up 3rd and Down 3rd,
for me, they seem to work quite well.

Indeed we do. I was also thinking of say, Dorien? Of course one would
hardly ever use it, but it would be there for a bit of a laugh. Will
even make it myself when I get round to learning how to do so. Dunno
why, but something about that scale fasinates me. Lol :)
