Andre, does your keyboard have an instrument definition list? That might be the problem? I don't know--I don't have a yamaha--but I thought it might have different instruments than just the standard midi instruments that qws is configured to use by default. Just a thought. Does your keyboard also use xg? U might also need to send an xg message to qws in order to make stuff work correctly. Dewald might know more, & James Bowden, the program author, monitors this list, so I think I'll keep my mouth shut now so as not to insert foot any further & defer to them, since I'm just making a WAG or 2 anyway.
