I still am playing a Tyros 1 but I do like the Tyros 4 allot. I've never had
my hands on one and have not heard one way or the other if it was a touch
screen or not.

I have this feeling five blind musicians aren't going to make them change the
interface, but you never know! Roland's synthesizers all come with
touchscreen. Their new rack module doesn't, but that too looks reasonably
complicated. Korg's Kronos and derivatives have touchscreens. The Tyros 4, if
I remember correctly, has a touchscreen. Your phone probably has a
touchscreen. Seems to be working out well, or they wouldn't all do it.

  Hi,

How does their record on accssibility suck? :S I think their manuals in text
version, their non-wrapping menus etc are a hell of a lot more accessible than
for example the way Korg is going with all their touch--based stuff ...I
wouldn't be surprised if Roland goes that way with their high-end keyboards ,
if it hasn't already ...
