Please explain exactly what you want to do. Are you trying to get the metronome to play from your Yamaha sound source? If so then the first step is to verify that your instrument has the sound you're looking for. This is a problem in the realm of MIDI, not something dealing with operating system stuff, so the reasons why this isn't working tend to be fairly simple to figure out. My suspicion is that your Yamaha doesn't have anything on the channel or on those particular keys. Sound layouts differ between instruments. One other thing -- if your Yamaha is XG compatible send an XG reset from QWS. This tends to clean out some problems too.
