Hello again Nicole I just found out that when I brough up a already recorded midi song when I chose a track to play it didn't play the instrument sound that I had chosen for that track and when I play the whole track it only played a coulple of tracks that was on there but it did not play the rest of the track. Can't figure this out at all please help if you can thanks.

Are you trying to get the metronome to play from your Yamaha sound source? If so then the first step is to verify that your instrument has the sound you're looking for. This is a problem in the realm of MIDI, not something dealing with operating system stuff, so the reasons why this isn't working tend to be fairly simple to figure out. My suspicion is that your Yamaha doesn't have anything on the channel or on those particular keys. Sound layouts differ between instruments. One other thing -- if your Yamaha is XG compatible send an XG reset from QWS. This tends to clean out some problems too.
