At least six implementations of the R6RS now exist, although at most one of them is fully R6RS-conforming. Implementors of at least eleven systems, including Marc Feeley, have stated that they do not intend to implement the R6RS. Larceny has provided an R6RS-compatible mode since November 2007. For most of the time since November 2007, Larceny has been the most R6RS-compatible system available. Last August, Matthew Flatt released PLT Scheme's R6RS test suite. Since the release of Larceny v0.97b1 at the end of August 2008, I believe Ypsilon is the only system that fails fewer of the PLT tests than Larceny (which, on most platforms, fails two).
