Besides, it also breaks with the history of the name itself: Schemer was named as an intended successor to Planner and Conniver. The "R" was lost to the ITS operating system's draconian naming limitations. If new names weren't such a silly idea, this would lead inevitably to the names Cons for the small language, and Spire for the large one.
