Maybe, maybe not; at a cursory inexpert glance there only seem to be two seemingly-trivial macros therein. However, syntax-rules certainly isn't enough (IMHO?) to write an OO system that does sophisticated compile-time analysis of a static class hierarchy to generate highly optimised generic functions, which is certainly a useful thing to be able to do!
